The Jewish Holiday of Purim isn't until the evening of March 7, but for those of us who celebrate, it is time to start getting ready. I pulled out my box of children's Purim books that recount the story of how Queen Esther's bravery stopped the evil Haman from killing the Jews. I hung pictures the kids colored of King Ahashverosh and pious Mordecai. They are learning about the holiday in Sunday school. If you teach in a Jewish Sunday school or in a secular school that offers multicultural studies as part of the curriculum, I hope you'll enjoy this FREE packet of Purim activities
